METABOLIC PEPTIDE RESEARCH

Better evidence.
Better research
questions.

We’re developing software that brings metabolic peptide studies into a clearer, more traceable research workflow.

01 — RESEARCH FOCUS

Weight change is only
part of the question.

PT Peptide’s initial focus is the quality of weight loss: how studies describe fat loss, lean tissue, muscle function and safety. These are distinct outcomes that deserve a consistent frame of comparison.

A

Fat loss

What was measured, over what duration, and in which study population?

B

Lean tissue

Which body-composition method was used, and what can it actually tell us?

C

Muscle function

Were strength or mobility measured alongside changes in body composition?

D

Safety & context

What adverse events, limitations and uncertainties were reported?

A MULTI-PATHWAY RESEARCH SCOPE

SINGLE-PATHWAY STUDIES

A starting point for structured comparison.

GLP-1 receptor agonist studies, including semaglutide research, provide a foundation for examining study populations, comparators and reported outcomes.

02 — THE PLANNED WORKFLOW

From scattered findings
to questions worth testing.

The product is being developed around a simple principle: every research claim should remain connected to its source and its context.

See the development plan
01

Collect the relevant evidence

Start with published studies and trial information selected for the research question.

02

Give findings a consistent structure

Capture study population, design, duration, comparators, outcome definitions and safety findings.

03

Compare with context intact

Surface differences, missing measures and conflicting findings without treating unlike studies as interchangeable.

04

Support the next research question

Prepare source-linked comparisons and testable hypotheses for researchers to review and prioritize.

03 — DEVELOPMENT STATUS

A working foundation.
A focused next phase.

PT Peptide has a working software prototype and is under active development. The next phase focuses on source-linked evidence comparison and a carefully evaluated research workflow.

CURRENT STAGE

Working software
prototype

The prototype is maintained in a separate development environment. This domain is the public project and information website; it does not host the research application.

PLANNED PRODUCT WORK

Structured evidence comparison

Planned capabilities include structured extraction, source-linked summaries and identification of conflicting findings for researcher review.

NEXT VALIDATION STEP

A manually checked benchmark

Evaluate extraction accuracy, citation validity and unsupported claims against a curated set of reviewed publications.

PLANNED PILOT

Researcher feedback and practical value

Assess review time, usability and cost per study before broadening the product’s scope.

05 — ABOUT THE PROJECT

Independent development.
Research in focus.

PT Peptide is a founder-led research software project based in Lisbon, Portugal. Our aim is to make metabolic peptide evidence easier to inspect, compare and turn into well-framed research questions.

The project is led by Zafer Genç. Development is focused on a practical software workflow for academic and biotechnology teams.
